From Curtis Ray: I have secured a permit for Friday June 23 at the South Kawishiwi River (#32) entry point, it is a short distance out of Ely Minnesota. we will travel to Ely on June 22 to get started on June 23 on the water. I'm inviting anyone that has gone before or never have been there, to join me. It would be a great opportunity to enjoy the Boundary Waters! We will have a few portages, river paddling and a few lakes, and there are some great campsites to enjoy as well. We will have time to fish and explore the area on our 4-5 day trip. When we get our group together (up to 6 people) we can decide more on the planned route and schedule.
