What is this?
This is a multi-day trip going out to the edge of the Apostle Island. It will be three nights; Thursday to Sunday, with optional day trips. We are planning on launching from Red Cliff and paddling to Oak Island Group Site A the first night. Braking camp early the next morning we will head over to Stockton Island Group Site A. With plenty of time, individual groups can select several day paddling options including the east side of Stockton or a crossing to Michigan Island. Saturday individual are free to do as the please, with a day trip paddling or on land activate, but save some energy for the trip home Sunday. Sunday morning we will get on the water and head back to the Mainland stopping for lunch along the way.
On this trip you need to be self-sufficient. You are responsible for your transportation to/from our launch site of Red Cliff, and responsible for your own gear, kayaks, and food, but we will work together to come up with solutions. If you don’t have something you feel you need please ask, it is more than likely that someone has two of them.
Night One: Oak Island - Group site A
Night Two: Stockton Island - Group site A
Night Three: Stockton Island - Group site A
