Paddles

Reminder this coming Sat. Oct 1st 6:00pm at Coon Forks Park is the annual after dark spooky Paddle.

I will bring brats, plates, condiments,plastic silverware, and music. You must sign up if you what a brat(otherwise hotdogs will be available)

What to bring:

A dish to pass (and let us know what your bringing.)

Flashlight/headlight(state required)

Chair/ wood/ change of clothes (especially socks)/ warm gloves-hat /

and a warm smile for the big campfire. Hope to see you there. Any questions feel free to call me.

I'll bring baked beans...camp sites have electric?

Yes...but bring an outdoor extension cord with multiple plugs, cuz we tend to have more than one electric pot.

I'll bring Potato salad and fire wood.

Chicken & Chorizo Soup - should help warm you from the inside out. See you on the water!

UpUPDATE:

Reminder: Coon Forks Park is right after Augusta on Highway 12

Look for Cty Rd "CF" (left at the Bowling Ally). Then take a right after the 2nd Coon Fork signs were the paved road ends ( which is the camp grounds, not the day park).

Because its a beautiful weekend,the park is busy.

Our Campsite is 09R. I recommend you park car at the put-in, and after the paddle you can park at the camp site . We do have electricity at the site and if you want to camp at that site your more than welcome to camp there too.
