7-23-22 Hay river paddle
Jenny Heller

Meet 9 AM farm and fleet parking lot in Chippewa Falls/Lake Hallie. We will put in right below the dam in Prairie Farm and paddle down to either highway VV or 64 depending on conditions. Bring a bow saw as there typically are downed trees. Make sure you’re wearing comfortable shoes because many times we are going under, over and around obstructions. River can be challenging however the wild life and beautiful scenery make up for everything complicated.

Not sure this is the correct way to register for this paddle? If not please let me know how to do that. Thanks!

Adam Shiel

Hi Cindy - You register via the event on the club calendar. You'll need to be logged in to do that.

So log in, go to the calendar entry for the Hay River paddle, and you should see a "register" button on the right side of your screen (on a laptop/desktop - not sure where it is on the mobile version of the web page). Click that button and it should start you registering.

Greetings-

So to date only one member has registered for this Saturday's Hay river paddle. I indicated this is a Class 2 for the simple reason that there is a fair amount of deadfall in the river that needs to be navigated. There are no rapids or riffles. There is a lot of beautiful scenery which is why this is one of my favorite rivers to paddle.

Please advise of your interest soon as I may opt to cancel the paddle if there is no further interest. Thank you and my number is 715-471-0706 if you have questions.

Good Morning:

To date I have received only one registration for interest in the Hay River paddle tomorrow. As such, it does not make sense to run the river with only two people so the trip will be canceled due to lack of interest.
