Hello folks!

Registration for the Chippewa River Conference ends September 2! Reserve your spot at the link below.

This year the event is Friday September 9, 8:30am-4:30pm. Heyde Center, Chippewa Falls, WI.

Don't miss out on a live eagle program, local historians, naturalists and biologists talking about fascinating river related topics. Lunch will be catered by Lucy's Deli, and is included in the $20 registration fee. The day will end with a social hour and live music by Paul Tweed Band.

More information can be found on Beaver Creek Reserve's website under "events."

If you can't make it to Friday's event, stop by Phoenix Park on Saturday, September 10, 8:30am-12:30pm for fun activities on the river! All events are Free! Registration is NOT required for Saturday's activities.

The WDNR will put on a fish shocking demonstration, there will be geocaching and bank fishing for kids, and a guided paddle and bike ride will launch at 10:30am.

For the Paddle: Meet at the Confluence of the Eau Claire and Chippewa Rivers at 10:30am. Bring your own Canoe/Kayak. A limited supply of kayaks will be available to rent for $15. The paddle will end around 12:30pm at Porterville Landing. A shuttle back to Phoenix Park will be provided.

For the Bike Ride: Meet at the Great Lawn, Phoenix Park at 10:30am. Bring your own bicycle and helmet. The ride is approximately 10 miles and will stop frequently and points of interest along the river.

Hope to see you all there!
