Hello all! We've done Long Lake in the past. Let's do something different. Brunet Island State Park is a wonderful place to paddle. I have #53 booked in the North Campground for Sep 20-22. There are several available, I like the idea of launching from our campsites along the channel. 50 51, 55, although 56 on the fishing lagoon is also a beautiful site. No power here, but trust me, you don't want to be in the RV campground. Away from channels, away from water. It cost about 37 bucks to reserve so very reasonable. Each site can have 6 people so a couple tents would be okay. So post any questions, interest, confirmations, what do you think?
Level is easy, access to Fisher River, windy channels, beautiful trees, wildlife, Chippewa River. Most of us know our way around. I say let's do it!
