I didn’t make the canoe trip last year, so I’m extra interested this year. Started researching, as permits are available January 17! I’m looking at Kawishiwi Lake to Malberg for a base camp for 3 nights. It’s 8 portages, but once you get there it looks fabulous! I would be willing to get a permit for August unless someone else is planning something.
