thanks Adam and Sonia. I think we should get together soon—- definitely need to get some dates on the calendar. Getting the club planning date on the calendar would be good also. It would be good to get the full board together to get acquainted and get us going as a team.

I’m happy to host at my place again if folks are ok with the travel. We can work, have a potluck, and then potentially take a bit of a woodland hike. I have a couple of new trails opened up this year. I have easels, newsprint, etc. for getting the planning going.

There is only 1/4 inch of snow on the ground right now… hopefully some winter will come soon.

Let me know what you think. Sunday afternoons are typically good for me.

Over on Facebook Sonia asked when we were going to plan 2024. I think it's a good question and raises a couple others:

1) When do we want to get together to plan? I'd suggest no later than mid February.

2) Is anyone going to get a BWCA permit to take a club trip there? Curtis did in 2023 and Mike did in 2022.

3) Is there anything else people are interested in that needs to be planned sooner rather than later?
