Flambeau River Trip Notes
Author Last Post

Change. Due to predicted thunderstorms and lightening hazard the Flambeau Trip has been changed to Sunday, August 21. All of the meeting times and locations remain the same.

Hello - I'm interested in joining in on the Flambeau River trip this coming Saturday the 20th. I'm new to kayaking and don't yet have a kayak of my own. I was wondering if anyone out there might be able to loan me their kayak and a paddle for this trip? I appreciate any assistance anyone can offer. You can also contact me directly at the information below.

Thank you!

Any size boat you'd recommend?

Sharing some further trip notes for the Flambeau River trip on Saturday August 20th.

-Please register if you will be attending.

-This trip involves whitewater, participants should be competent swimmers, comfortable in the water, and life jackets are required.

-Total trip time is generally 6 hours with a lunch stop. If weather permits we will have a fire and you can burn your favorite meat or veggie.

-The lead paddlers must always be in view of the tail end paddlers as we will all stop to assist any needing a hand.
