About this event
Kayak Safety Training, paddle & picnic on beautiful Lake Wazee. Wazee is a pristine clear lake in a park near Black River Falls. It features a large lake (about 1 mi long), a HUGE crescent-shaped beach, and huge shallow area.
We will practice; Wet Exits, Paddle Float Recovery, and Assisted Rescues.
Needed: kayak with sealed bulkheads, spray skirt, paddle float. If you need to borrow a kayak, please reach out!
You will need to pay the daily entry fee at the ranger station.
