What is this?
Always a great beautiful paddle down the Eau Claire River. We will launch from Harstad Park near Augusta and paddle down to the D Bridge near Fall Creek. About a 4-hour paddle depending on water levels and number of stops we make. Sandy bottom, lots of sand bars, easy paddling. All paddling levels welcome.
You must register through our website for this event. We will shuttle our vehicles at 11am(so show up at 10:30am to unload gear and be ready to shuttle your car at 11. No need to buy the park pass before unloading unless you plan to leave your car at the put in.
Life jackets required. Bring a snack and water for yourself. A change of clothes in a dry bag is a good idea too.
If weather looks bad, I'll cancel Saturday night. Register if you want updates and for us to wait for you at the park, otherwise your on your own.
