Monthly Meeting Minutes- May 13, 2026

President Matt B called the meeting to order at 8:33
Pool sessions
-Went well, could have used a few more people. Made $100. 5 people each session.
Amazing EC Clean Up
-Another successful year! 6 kayakers worked the shores of Half Moon Lake, 2 worked the shore starting at Braun’s Bay. Collected several bags of trash & several large items from Half Moon Lake shoreline.
First Social Paddle & First Fitness Paddle of season
-3 members braved the chilly water & air temperatures of Elk Creek Lake. All three were appropriately dressed for cold water paddling.
-Only Mike showed up for Fitness Paddle so far
Kayak 101 Class
-Cancelled, no sign-ups except for me. Since I was the only one that still showed up Mike graciously gave me a personal lesson on some advanced paddling techniques.
Upcoming Adventure Paddles:
-Robinson Creek Sat - 8 signed up
-Red Cedar May 31
-Sharon will be adding Holte’s to Meridean to calendar, probably in June

Volume One would be a great source to advertise our weekly social paddles with a link to the club website
Questioning/Discussion: Silent Wake using our site for their advertising on our site.
