Brunet Island Extravaganza

This sounds like another great end of the year activity! Thanks for organizing, Jenny.

It’s a beautiful park and the paddling options are beautiful. Spotting otters, beavers, deer & eagles are likely.

I plan on paddling each each day and participating in all the extra activities so am grateful you’ll keep us day-tripping / non-campers in the loop.

Hello Paddlers!

Just wanted to remind people that Fall is coming and this trip September 19th-21st is available. Please register if you would like to camp otherwise let me know if you just want to join for the day and I can include you on the schedule of our plans. Just and FYI Jenny's weather forecast says it is going to be beautiful!

Join us for our end of season camping trip. This year we will be at Brunet Island North Campground.

This year I have reserved tent sites #36 and #37. Those were the only ones available together. These will allow a maximum of 6 people per site. Please register on here if you would like to camp on one of these sites with us. These spots allow us to push our kayaks straight off from our sites. If you need an electric site, those are on the South Campground and you can book those separately.

There are some fun options, we can go up the Fischer River and/or if you would like we can go up the Chippewa River to the Holcombe Dam. If people would like we can also go out on Friday and Saturday evenings and watch the sunset on the Chippewa River and then come back and have a campfire. If it is raining there are a few restaurants that would be available to eat at.

If people want to join for the day, they are more than welcome, just let me know and I will keep you in the loop of when we are going to launch. You can bring food to cook over the campfire if you wish.

Thanks!

Jenny Liethen
