Paddles

Rather than paddle Braun’s Bay 2 weeks in a row we hoped to paddle Lake Altoona tonight but it is closed again so we’ll paddle Lake Wissota Northwest tonight (XMJ4+FPC Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin).

Iv been seeing a fast rushing chippewa river here in chippewa today. Is the water report good.

I drove to several paddle locations last night anticipating Lake Altoona continuing to be closed. Timber Terrace & Paint Creek seemed too high or too fast. Northwest Lake Wissota looked just fine with water only slightly higher up the boat landing. It is more lake than river. Use your own best judgement.

Is this the boat launch by the bike trail/ Wissota golf?
