Let’s explore Area 178 hiking trails along the Chippewa River off hwy 178 near Chippewa Falls.

It’s a 9-mile loop sandwiched on land just east of Chippewa Falls and just west of Lake Wissota. The scenic property is comprised largely of woods, mixed with intermittent patches of open prairie land, bordered by the Chippewa River.

Meet at 3pm at the parking lot off 178 just north of the river. We won’t be able to do all 9 miles. I plan to be done before it gets dark.
