We're going to kayak the Red Cedar from Menomonie to Downsville on Saturday, June 17. We'll leave the boat landing just west of the corner of Wilson Ave and River road, just across the river from Riverside Park. It's the yellow between Red Cedar River and River Rd in the map link. Be there at 10 AM ready to shuttle.

It's about 3 hours to Downsville. Unless we have a deluge in the next week or so the water level will be low, so there will be a couple minor riffles.

We may separate in to two groups: one that wants to paddle and another that wants to float.

Pack snacks and/or a lunch. We'll stop on a sand bar or the Irvington Bar to take a break.

Please, please register so if plans change we can let people know (but if you just show up, we're nice and won't turn you away. Do be prepared to shuttle though).

I'm not sure I'll be able to resist Lucette's after the trip.
