Hello everyone,
I would like to go on as many of the Wednesday evening social paddles as possible this summer, but I don’t own a kayak, and won’t own one any time soon unless I could figure out how/where to store one. Does anyone have an extra kayak I could borrow, either just for one specific Wednesday or for several of them? I have my own paddle and PFD. I would also need a ride to each of them (unless they’re on an Eau Claire bus route), either in my van and taking my power wheelchair, or in someone else’s vehicle taking my little manual transport wheelchair (pretty much a bag chair on wheels). My family (who are also a part of this group) will likely come on some of the paddles and bring a kayak for me to use, but they live far enough away that they won’t be able to do all of them. I’d also like to do as many of the level 1 weekend trips (non-overnight) as possible, and would need the same things for those.
I don’t necessarily expect someone to be able to help out for every single paddle, but I’ll appreciate any time someone can help out. I’ve really enjoyed meeting everyone and going on the last couple of paddles—thank you to everyone who helped out with those!
