I've had contact from people that plan to arrive on various days / times & wanted an itinerary....
Here's the basics of what I'm expecting so far (weather permitting)
Fri, 10/8
Set up camp
afternoon exploration of the island (water or land)
dinner at local restaurant
Campfire - recounting adventures & telling lies
Sat, 10/9
breakfast on your own (or local restaurant)
10- 2 Paddle Chippewa or Fisher river (depending on conditions) Meet at park boat launch. There is a city put-in at the last left before the park entrance. You can launch from there & save a day pass fee. We'll head out promptly at 10 am.
2-? Beach shelter; fire, refreshments, games
Eve - dinner at Ted's Timber Lodge, East Bay, or other
Campfire - recounting adventures & telling lies. S'mores? Beverages?
Sun, 10/10
Breakfast on your own or local restaurant
Open - paddle, hike, explore, laze in a hammock.
Notes;
I am planning to bring a canoe. If any one would like to share a canoe with Gypsy & I please let me know.
I will bring, so you won't need to;
a saw, ax, and fire making stuff
2 burner camp stove, fuel, and a couple pans
jet boil
dish washing stuff
Water jug
