Wazee tomorrow!

Weather looks great. Dave and I will be there around 8:30, plan to locate at the launch site just past the swimming beach.

Unfortunately, I didn't receive any comments or messages about a potluck, so our alternative plan is a stop at the Airport Bar and Grill on the road in to Wazee after paddling. The food there was quite good when we went last a few weeks ago, and they open at 11.

I will bring extra water and Rice Krispie bars (breakfast of champions) for you before we start paddling.

Lake Wazee trip is just a week away. We are excited to paddle the crystal clear, blue waters of Wazee and to greet Paddlers we may not have seen yet this year, and perhaps those we have not yet met!

Moving 1 1/2 hour away from Eau Claire has definitely changed my paddling habits, so we are very pleased to host this little outing. The extended forecast for the 17th looks good so far; we will keep an eye on it.

I would like to have some idea how many people to expect, so please drop a note here in the forum or on Facebook. If you need a kayak, we can bring one extra. I know that other members may also have extras to share.
